Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Are you wracking your brain trying to think of something special you can do? I feel like it gets harder and harder each year to come up with something that would be new and exciting, especially if you’ve been with your spouse for quite some time it’s definitely harder to come up with something special. Here are 6 things you could do or plan for your spouse that will make him feel more than special on this Valentine’s Day!

6 Ways to Surprise Your Man on Valentine's Day!

Plan a Getaway!

Who doesn’t love a weekend away from home! Getting out for some quality time is even more fun when it’s spontaneous and short-lived. Most of the time the 1 and 2 night trips are much more enjoyable than the vacations we take for a week or more. You’re mainly doing this for the quality time, so it can be as simple as booking a hotel room near or far, depending on your cash flow, and relaxing a bit!

Send A Surprise Gift

I think sending a surprise gift is even more exciting when us women do this for the men. Most of the time for Valentine’s Day it becomes a day that is so centered around gifts for the women that it’s almost expected, but the guys in our life like to receive gifts to! I mean, think about it, who doesn’t?! This year, instead of waiting on him to deliver you some flowers or candy that you never eat, think about what you could buy to surprise him with! Try to think outside of the box!

Make Breakfast In Bed

Do I even need to explain this one?! Breakfast in bed is a great way to start the day and sets the mood for a special Valentine’s Day. This is something that is really simple, but a lot of the time, it’s the small things that matter most! We always like our guy to cater to us, but catering to him sometimes is just as special and shows him that it’s about him just as much as it’s about you.

Celebrate The Holiday Early

Around Valentine’s Day everyone is expecting something from their significant other, right? Well, one way to make sure to surprise your spouse is to celebrate the holiday early! This is a sure way to catch them off guard and to make the holiday much more exciting! If planning a get-away is in the budget for this year, it would be even more fun to start early so that you’ll enjoy dinner, a night away and still be able to relax on Sunday since Valentine’s Day is on a Friday this year!

Give Him What He Wants!

Get your head out of the gutter! Ha. Men, a lot like women, will hint to different things that they really want for themselves. What’s something that he’s had his eye on for quite sometime and has made subtle hints about and still doesn’t have right now? I’m pretty sure there is something! This could be the greatest surprise of all time; just think about it!

Have His Car Detailed

Most men love their cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc. Book an appointment to have his car detailed inside and out! You could surprise him by trading vehicles with him for the day and having his car detailed while he’s away. When he arrives at home, his car will shiny, clean and parked in the driveway!
